About Rachel

Rachel draws inspiration from her childhood summers spent backpacking with her family, her studies in environmental science, and her work to protect wildlife in Zion National Park. Fueled by a lifelong love for nature and living in beautiful Southern Utah since 2015, Rachel merges her commitment to environmental stewardship with her drive to create distinctive, vibrant pieces that celebrate our public lands, plants, and wildlife. By repurposing retired climbing ropes, she aims to inspire others to creatively reuse materials and keep them out of landfills.

Beyond crafting art from old climbing ropes, Rachel also paints watercolor that she transforms into wearable clothing and fabric repair patches, allowing you to carry your love for the planet on every hike! While she recognizes there is always room for improvement, Rachel is dedicated to making her creative process, from conception to packaging, as eco-friendly as possible. You can find more of Rachel’s art around Southern Utah at Amazing Adventures, Zion Outdoor, Zion Made and more!

See you on the trails!
